The Black Panther has always intrigued me. His face is innocent to some and not to others. He was one of the first prints printed in Anchorage.

Erik loves to go visit the elephants in the San Diego Zoo. We like to go sit and watch them whenever we go to that southern warm location during the winter months.

Giraffes always must be watched also at the SD Zoo. They are such elegant creatures and their young are cute in Erik’s eyes. He loves observing them.

Tigers are dangerous creatures and yet when Erik draws them, they have an innocence about them. He loves drawing families and in particular, mothers and their young.

This black line was drawn in Kenny Lake School during the last year he attended. I love the realistic style in which he drew it.  His more recent zebra art (2013) has become much more stylized and abstract.
